VitrA won three new Good Design awards in December 2020, on the 70th anniversary of this award program for outstanding design, raising to 40 the number of Good Design awards we have received to date.
VitrA has received three new awards from Good Design, an award program established in 1950 and considered to be one of the most prestigious in the design world. With the new awards, VitrA now has 40 Good Design awards.
VitrA's CementMix tile system won the award in the building materials category, while its Voyage and Sento children bathroom collections won the award in the bath and accessories category. A collaboration between The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, the Good Design award program received 900 submissions from 48 countries in 2020.
Voyage, VitrA's collaboration with the artist and industrial designer Arik Levy, is VitrA's most expansive bathroom collection with more than 130 different elements. Sento Kids and CementMix were created by the VitA Design team. This team designs more than 60 percent of VitrA's products and collections, many of which have won prestigious international awards, including EDIDA, Design Innovation, Design Plus, Iconic Awards, Interior Innovation, iF, Plus X, Red Dot, Wallpaper and more.
